Been pretty busy with some commissions and planning for our next anthology entitled “Confusion comic”. I am stoked to put together an even better book this time, and work with some other talented image makers. In other news we will have a table at Oslo Comics Expo where you can purchase copies of Vegetable Comic along with a smaller book containing some collected drawings. The above drawing “Holiday Hat” belongs to this collection.

Are you sending any copies of Vegetable Comic to comics shops here in the USA ? (Like Quimby's in Chicago ??) or should I just get it straight from you ?

Hey! I should really look into that, and I probably will in the coming weeks. However, the bulk shipping prices from Norway will probably make the comics more expensive (they were already difficult to produce here because of the elevated prices of everything). I just want to keep the comics as affordable as possible. So I guess for now it would be best to get them straight from us. If any other options presents itself I’ll let everyone know via tumblr.

So we finally got our acts together and figured how much its gonna cost us to sell this outside of Norway. As I mentioned earlier the comic is 64 pages black and white and has a 3 color screen printed cover. We have opened a store via big cartel, so everyone from the States that has been asking for copies you can get them at the below link. Other than that we have a table at Oslo Comics festival this year where we will be selling these with some additional smaller books (also very stoked to see Deforge speak).

On a side not one of Norway’s biggest newspapers (Natt og Dag) interviewed me and called the book called the anthology the most uplifting release Norwegian comic release in years. Good to have those kind words on the first issue— we are already planning the next one for late September. More info on that soon.

After living in the screen printing studio for the last week and a half we released vegetable comic (in an edition of 200) last weekend at Galleri Bokboden in Bergen, Norway. Thanks to everyone who came out and showed support. On a side note we will be putting the comic up for sale on big cartel in the next week or so (after i figure out shipping costs)— so to everyone who has emailed me just hold tight and i’ll make a post when I have figured things out.
